Junior Coaching

All our coaches are England Squash-accredited and enjoy seeing our juniors learn, develop and thrive as young squash players:

Fees

  • Under-11s: £4.00 per session
  • Over-11s: £7.00 per session

 

In addition, there is an annual Junior Squash Club membership fee of £10.00, usually payable in September each year or upon joining. Along with the usual club benefits, the membership fee also covers registration with England Squash, which ensures appropriate insurance cover is in place.

Equipment

The club can loan junior squash racquets and suitable eye protection, so no equipment is needed to start learning straightaway. Children should bring their own water/drink, wear appropriate clothing and clean white-soled trainers.

Safeguarding

At Buckingham Squash and Racketball Club, we take our safeguarding/child protection duties very seriously. We want everyone to enjoy their squash and be able to do so in a safe and supportive environment, especially our juniors and anyone who is classed as vulnerable. All our coaches have a satisfactory criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service and our Welfare Officer is highly experienced in dealing with safeguarding matters.

How to support our coaching programme

We are always looking for parents and other adults to support the organisation of the Junior Coaching Programme, as there are a range of voluntary tasks that are needed to support the programmes and approved coaches.
