We offer a regular coaching programme for junior players and ad hoc coaching sessions for adults.
Junior Coaching
Popular with parents, schools and for the sport element of Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Buckingham Squash & Racketball Club Junior Coaching Programme is the first step towards a life-long passion for squash.
All sessions are led by England Squash-approved coaches and a structured coaching programme, with coaching taking place twice a week during school term-time on Wednesdays (early evening) and Saturdays (mornings).
Click here for more information on Junior Coaching.
Adult Coaching
We offer ad hoc coaching sessions for adults via the weekly Squash Club evenings, usually on Thursdays at Stowe School. We also offer stand-alone sessions, based upon on demand or suggestions from Club members, which regularly include women-only sessions.
We can also recommend individual coaches for Squash Club members.
If you are interested in Adult Coaching, please contact: buckingham.midweek.juniors@gmail.com
Buckingham Squash and Racketball Club’s leagues are an exciting and fun way to improve your squash and get to know other club members.
The Club runs competitive leagues for up to six players in each league, played over a 5 to 6 week period.
Players are awarded points for playing, winning and the number of games won in each match.
League winners and runners-up are promoted, while those at the bottom of each league are relegated.
If you are interested in joining the squash and/or racketball leagues leagues, contact bsandrclub@gmail.com
Club-wide competitions are run from time-to-time, with information circulated via email.
There’s more to life than just squash and racketball (or so they tell us) and the Club arranges regular events or get-togethers, such as Christmas socials, summer barbecues, etc.
The Club is an England Squash & Racketball-affiliated club, run independently by volunteers from the local membership, who comprise a Committee to oversee the proper functioning and operation of the Club.
For more information on the current Committee membership and the Club’s policies, including on Safeguarding, Data Protection and Codes of Conduct, click here.
We are always looking for extra help to run the club, and if you are interested in joining the Committee or helping out, please contact bsandrclub@gmail.com
