People and policies
As an England Squash and Racketball-affiliated club, Buckingham Squash and Racketball Club is run independently by a friendly committee of volunteers drawn from the local membership.
The Club’s aims and objectives are to:
- be affiliated to England Squash & Racketball
- offer coaching and competitive opportunities
- promote the club within the local community and England Squash & Racketball
- ensure a duty of care to all members of the Club
- provide all its services in a way that is fair to everyone
- ensure that all present and future members receive fair and equal treatment.
The current Club Committee’s officers are:

- Membership/Club Nights Secretary: Peter Rutledge/Justin Willett
- Junior Coaching: Secretary Alistair Wright
- Child Welfare Officer: Jill Reynolds

Committee officers are appointed under the Club’s constitution for one year at each Annual General Meeting (AGM). They must stand down at the subsequent AGM meeting, but may offer themselves for re-election.
